Kelce Says Celebrating with Taylor Swift After AFC Championship Is ‘Another Memory in the Journey We Get to Cherish’
The tight end added that off-the-field support “gives me a reason to play that much harder.”
After Sunday’s AFC Championship victory and on-field celebration with Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce is toasting the people who give him “a reason to play that much harder.”
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, opened up about his heartfelt celebratory moment with Swift, 34, during a pre-Super Bowl press conference on Friday.
“It’s another memory in the journey that we get to cherish, man,” Kelce told reporters after being asked about the post-game celebration.
“Tay, I’m gonna enjoy with the guys,” Kelce told Swift, before going in for a kiss and telling her, “I love you.”
The Chiefs’ next stop is Super Bowl LVIII, where they’ll face off against the San Francisco 49ers on Feb. 11 in Las Vegas.

And while Kelce is currently prepping for game day, a source close to him and Swift told PEOPLE this week that this past week’s victory was “the best night ever” for those involved. The “whole family was so, so excited and riding a high,” the insider said, noting that “phones were blowing up all night with congrats.”
