Taylor Swift is reportedly ”honored to have landed in the number two spot” after Beyoncé was named the Greatest Pop Star of the 21st century as per Billboard Details here
Former “Tonight Show” host Jay Leno recently recalled a “road rage story involving Taylor Swift” — and this one actually has a happy ending.
Meanwhile, the city of Vancouver is also getting a Swiftie facelift ahead of the very last Eras Tour shows in the Canadian city this weekend, Dec. 6-8.
Taylor Swift is “really happy for Beyoncé” being named the greatest pop star of the 21st century by Billboard, an insider tells Page Six.
“Taylor will always support strong female artists and thinks Beyoncé is so deserving of this honor,” our source adds.
The “Karma” singer is aware her fans are upset that she was not given the top honor and is the runner-up, but she feels no self-pity, according to our source.
“Taylor appreciates all the fan support she’s received but she knows Beyoncé is a legend in the music industry and Taylor’s honored to have landed in the number two spot next to her,” our source notes.
“Taylor is proud of what she’s accomplished regardless of what spot she holds.”
Beyoncé was named Billboard’s greatest pop star of the 21st century and Taylor Swift’s fans are up in arms.
The music outlet placed the 43-year-old above Swift’s second place standing on Tuesday and cited Beyoncé’s “full 25 years of influence, evolution and impact” as their reasoning.
Not long after they made the announcement, the singers’ respective fan bases took to social media to argue which of the Grammy winners was more deserving of the coveted spot.
“Taylor had more impact in the last 5 years than Beyoncé in her whole career ×5,” one Swiftie penned via X.
Taylor Swift looks forward to some well-deserved downtime after wrapping up her lengthy Eras Tour next weekend.
The pop star has been on the go for nearly two years straight, performing over 150 shows since kicking off her tour in March 2023 — but it all comes to a close on Dec. 8 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
“Taylor’s exhausted,” a source told Us Weekly on Tuesday. “She’s excited for some relaxation and downtime.”
The “Cruel Summer” singer is reportedly planning to spend most of her time off with boyfriend Travis Kelce down in Kansas City.
