Taylor Swift reveals the inspiration behind the Kobe Bryant’s necklace
Taylor Swift is back on her Easter egg game.
On Thursday night, the musician was photographed leaving Electric Lady Studios in New York City.
While it’s unclear what Swift was working on at the recording spot, she seemingly made a bold statement through her clothes and accessories.
To complement her athleisure outfit, Swift wore sunglasses, small earrings, and a gold necklace with a round pendant.
The latter piece was studded with diamonds and engraved with the phrase “Bet on yourself,” a quote from the late basketball star Kobe Bryant.
limited-edition necklace was created by Zoë Chicco in collaboration with Vanessa Bryant and the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation, a nonprofit organization that honors the legacies of Kobe and their late daughter Gianna Bryant.
Swift wore the necklace with a $108 Adidas jacket, a green top, and matching sneakers from the Ivy Park x Adidas collaboration.
Swift is a longtime friend of the Bryant family and was close with the athlete before he died in January 2020.
