Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end, was sighted on Saturday at the 150th Kentucky Derby, where he appeared to be having a good time. On Sunday, he was back in action, competing in the Miami Grand Prix. However, Taylor Swift was not present.
In the days leading up to the Formula One race, several sources said that the 14-time Grammy winner would travel to Miami with Kelce to watch the race alongside Patrick and Brittany Mahomes. But there’s a very solid reason why Kelce traveled to Miami alone.
Swift’s private airplane landed in the Paris area on Saturday, according to the Subreddit that records its movements. The European leg of Swift’s Eras Tour is set to begin in Paris on Thursday. So, Swift is most likely preparing for the record-breaking tour and did not have time to attend the Miami Grand Prix, as previously rumored.
