Why Patrick Mahomes’ mother Randi busts ‘fake’ claim on remarriage

Patrick Mahomes has learned a lot from his mother, Randi. She and Patrick’s dad, former professional baseball pitcher Pat Sr., brought him up when he was a baseball, basketball, and football star at Whitehouse High School in Texas.

While Patrick II has become a two-time NFL Most Valuable Player, he remains close to his mother. However, there were claims that Randi Mahomes remarried nearly two decades after she and Pat Sr. divorced. The mother of three refutes that information.

Randi and Pat Mahomes Sr. married in the late 90s after attending high school. At that time she had no idea that her husband was a professional baseball player. Eventually, Pat’s career took a toll on their relationship, leading them to a divorce in 2006.

However, they maintain a harmonious relationship as co-parents to Jackson and Patrick Mahomes. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback might have gotten his knack for quick physical recovery from his double-jointed mother, like in the 2022 AFC Championship Game.

Randi Mahomes’ daughter, Mia, is from another relationship. Meanwhile, Jackson Mahomes is an online influencer with over a million Instagram followers. He is facing sexual misconduct and aggravated battery charges for forcibly kissing the owner of the now-closed Kansas City bar and restaurant.

When not attending Chiefs games, Randi also maintains the QB Producer website. Her mission statement reads:

“Set a positive example and make a difference in the lives of others by beginning each day with God in prayer and thanksgiving so that Jesus’ light may shine through me.”

She is also an event planner and is actively involved with the children’s charity group Variety KC. Randi uses her profession to organize fundraisers to help children with disabilities.

Meanwhile, Randi Mahomes’ eldest son dominates the opposition after leading the Chiefs to victory in Super Bowl LVII over the Philadelphia Eagles. That’s Patrick’s second Super Bowl championship in four seasons, and he’s in a position to add more Vince Lombardi Trophies to his collection.

While the Chiefs and Mahomes agreed to a ten-year, $450 million contract extension in 2020, they have restructured that deal. Patrick Mahomes will earn $210.6 million from 2023 to 2026, the most for any NFL player during a four-year span.

The Chiefs bumped Mahomes’ annual value to $52.65 million following the record-setting deals of quarterbacks Jalen Hurts, Lamar Jackson, Justin Herbert, and Joe Burrow.
