Former NFL wide receiver Brandon Marshall has stirred up controversy with claims that Taylor Swift orchestrated Kanye West’s removal from his seat at Super Bowl 2024. Marshall alleges that Swift took action after West purchased seats directly in front of her private suite at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
According to Marshall, who made these statements on the Paper Route podcast, the situation escalated due to West’s strategic seating arrangement. He asserted, “Kanye West buys a ticket right in front of Taylor Swift’s booth so anytime they are gonna be showing Taylor Swift, Kanye’s face was going to be there — he had a mask on with his logo. So Taylor Swift gets pissed off.”
Marshall further claimed that Swift made calls resulting in West’s ejection from the stadium. He implied that West was attempting to capitalise on Swift’s celebrity by positioning himself strategically for camera shots.
However, Marshall’s allegations have been met with scepticism due to his confusion regarding Swift’s identity during his podcast. Initially, he mistakenly referred to Swift as Katy Perry. Despite this, Marshall remains adamant about the sequence of events he described.
Taylor And Kanye’s Longstanding Feud
While no concrete evidence has surfaced to validate Marshall’s claims, the purported incident adds another chapter to the longstanding feud between Swift and West.
The feud traces back to the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards when West infamously interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech. Over the years, tensions between the two escalated, with West releasing a track in 2016 containing derogatory remarks about Swift.
