Jason Kelce’s response to a fan’s outfit complaint is making waves.
A fan watching the “Monday Night Football” broadcast earlier tonight pointed out an interesting contradiction of Jason Kelce’s outfit.
The Ohio native was spotted wearing Denver Broncos gear, but when it came time for him to make his pick, he selected the Cleveland Browns to win.
“Why is Jason Kelce wearing Broncos gear? He’s from Cleveland!” the fan said on social media. Well, Kelce saw the fan’s complaint and gave a very thorough explanation for his choice of outfit.

Every tailgate I go into Monday Night Football, I wear a jersey honoring a former great of the home team. For the Jets I wore Abdul Salaam’s jersey to honor him after his passing as one of the great members of the Sack Exchange,” he said.
“For the Steelers game, I wore my friend and desk mate Ryan Clark’s jersey. For the Chiefs I wanted to honor Abner Haynes and his contributions to the game in many ways. Tonight I wore Tom Nalen’s jersey as one of the legendary centers of the game and a guy I looked up to and watched when learning the position as an undersized center.”
Fans – and former NFL star Andrew Whitworth, loved it.
“Love that you do that! That’s freaking awesome,” Whitworth said.
“Love you Jason! Please don’t ever change. Forever having to unnecessarily explain yourself,” added another.
“Such a great way to honor players of the past!” offered a third.
None of the panelists correctly predicted the score as the Broncos and Browns have already combined for 56 points with over 12 minutes left to play in the fourth quarter.
