Mahomes could have been joking about forgetting the holiday. But, even if he was serious, Brittany should certainly understand. While his wife might be a tad upset, Mahomes coaches should be proud of him. Valentineās Day will come around every year, but opportunities to win the Super Bowl do not.
In any case, the holiday will be two days after the Super Bowl, which should still leave him with plenty of time to set things up, more so if the Chiefs lose and have nothing to celebrate.
