Travis Kelce reacts to sportscaster who refuses to ask about Taylor Swift
Travis Kelce finally met a sports reporter who refused to ask him about his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
“Now, Travis, I’m not gonna ask you about your girl, man, that’s not my job,” a sportscaster told the Kansas City Chiefs tight end in an interview on Tuesday (via X).
“That’d be a first,” Kelce quipped.
The NFL star has been peppered with questions about the “Blank Space” all week as he and his team prepare to take on the San Francisco 49ers at Super Bowl 2024 this weekend.
At one point, a reporter even asked Kelce, 34, if he’s thinking about proposing to Swift after the big game.
“Is there going to be another ring besides the Super Bowl ring if you win this thing on Sunday?” a reporter asked the Kansas City Chiefs tight end on Monday.
“I’m focused on getting this ring, and that’s all that my mind’s focused on right now,” Kelce responded.
While Swift, 34, is expected to fly from Tokyo to Las Vegas following her Eras Tour performance to support her beau, it’s unclear what Travis will do after the game, though it’s been speculated he’ll join his girlfriend for at least some of her tour dates.
“A lot of us are doing a lot of different things … I have a feeling there’ll be some traveling, and probably some podcasts or what have you in Philadelphia,” Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, told People, referring to Travis’ “New Heights” podcast that he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce.
Donna, 71, said she will also be traveling as well but noted “everything is kind of on hold” until they know the outcome of Sunday’s game.
So far, Travis — who made his public debut with Swift in September — only has been able to catch the “Bad Blood” singer’s show in Argentina because of his busy NFL schedule.
