Being Miles Apart Doesn’t Hinder Romance as Angel Reese Gets Valentine’s Proposal from Beau Cam’Ron Fletcher

Angel Reese is breaking the internet once again with her long-time beau, Cam’Ron Fletcher, during Valentine’s season. The two have returned to give their fans some relationship goals, as Reese’s boyfriend asked her to be his date all the way from New York City. After receiving 200 roses from Fletcher recently, Reese received a Valentine’s Day surprise from the Florida State basketball player, who is still on crutches after knee surgery. But that didn’t stop him from showering love on his girl.

The 6 ft 7 senior guard for the Florida State Seminoles, Fletcher, made an appearance on camera – presumably FaceTime – for his Valentine’s Day proposal in front of a makeshift set. Using crutches to support himself, he stood in front of a backdrop of balloons, hearts, and rose petals. He clutched flowers and a giant pink card that read, “Will you be my Valentine?”

In her Instagram story, Angel Reese shared a clip of the sweet Valentine’s Day proposal on a video call between the two. She sent Cam’Ron an even sweeter response, “Long distance is the worst. But he is all the way in NYC. Just had surgery & did this. I love you a MILLION TIMESSSSSS.”

Her boyfriend injured his right knee on December 2 against North Carolina, effectively ruling him out of the season, and had surgery on January 23. Last week, Fletcher, who has a NIL valuation of $1.7 million and is known to bring out his romantic side for Angel Reese, gifted her a bouquet of roses.

After Reese’s LSU Tigers lost to both the No. 1 ranked South Carolina Gamecocks and the Mississippi State Bulldogs, Fletcher sent her a bouquet of 200 roses to cheer her up. And what’s more? Last year, he booked a Jamaican holiday for the couple where they showed off their adventures, everything from horseback riding to off-road biking together on their Instagram accounts.

As February 14 is closing in, there’s no doubt that being Cam’Ron Fletcher’s valentine is one of Reese’s priorities. But so is basketball, and she’ll be focused on LSU’s upcoming game against Vanderbilt.

The LSU Tigers are preparing for their trip down to Tennessee. There, they will take on the Vanderbilt Commodores on February 9, 2024, after their much-needed win against the Florida Gators. Further down the line is LSU’s match against the Alabama Crimson Tide just two days before Valentine’s Day. All this means is Reese will be entirely focused on her games, hoping to continue the winning momentum.
