Jason Kelce and his former Eagles teammate Lane Johnson made a surprise appearance at Wrestlemania on Saturday at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field – and gave fans an absolute show as they helped Rey Mysterio And Andrade win.
Kelce, an Eagles legend who announced his retirement from the NFL last month, donned an Eagles mask along with Johnson as the pair ambushed Dom Mysterio and stopped him from using a chair against his father, Rey.
From there, Rey landed a double 619 on Dom and his partner Santos Escobar before frog splashing on Escobar to secure the win.Afterwards, Jason was pictured with wrestling great The Rock backstage.
Saturday marked just the second time that Wrestlemania had been held in Philly, with the last time coming in 1999 at the First Union Center (now known as the Wells Fargo Center).
This time, it was held at Lincoln Financial Field – the home of the Eagles, who Kelce played for for 13 seasons.
Next week, Jason and Travis will host a live version of New Heights from Cincinnati’s Nipper Stadium.
