Travis Kelce and his ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole uplifted the football star’s sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, after the heartbreaking death of her dog.

“🥺🥺 You [gave] Winn an amazing life Ky!!” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end — whose brother is Kylie’s husband, Jason Kelce — commented on her tribute post Friday. “Winnie girl. What a sweet life she lived. ❤,” added Travis’ most recent ex-girlfriend, Nicole. On Thursday, Kylie, 31, revealed via Instagram that her dog, Winn, had sadly passed away.

“She was everything I had hoped for in a wolfie and more,” she wrote alongside a carousel of snaps of the late Irish wolfhound. “I lost part of my soul today, but I know she is at peace. I love you, Winn. You will always be my first born child.” After Nicole left her comment, several fans called her out since Travis, 34 is now dating Taylor Swift. (Swift did not comment but it’s unclear if she gave her condolences to the Kelce family in person.)

“you should’ve dm’ed this instead,” once critic wrote. “your seeking for the attention is unbelievable.👏👏,” added another. A third fan said that Nicole, 32, knew what her comment would “turn into,” adding that it’s “straight messy” and they’re “embarrassed for her.” Other social media users defended the model, however, saying that Nicole was “allowed to send condolences” due to how close she used to be with the Kelce family.

“Kylie did nothing to her though. She can still like, follow, and comment on someone she spent years around and fell in love with. It’s called maturity,” said one fan. Nicole and Travis dated on and off from 2017 to 2022, and she got to know his family and friends over the years.
