Sports commentator Skip Bayless is the latest celebrity to give his honest opinion on Taylor Swift—and his words were anything but “Delicate.”

During a new episode of his podcast, The Skip Bayless Show, the former ESPN host held nothing back while talking about Swift with his wife, Ernestine Sclafani Bayless, who started the conversation by declaring that she is “not a Taylor Swift fan.”

Skip, 73, agreed with his wife, chiming in to say “I don’t get [Swift]” during the Monday, Dec. 2 episode of his podcast.

At one point during the conversation, Skip wanted to evaluate Travis Kelce’s girlfriend by one factor: “hot or not hot?”

“Taylor Swift to me? Not hot,” he said before noting, “But that’s just me. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”

His wife worded her comments more gently, calling the pop star “a cute girl” but insisting that she isn’t interested in listening to Swift’s music at all.

“I know people like her,” Ernestine said, “but she’s not on my turntable.”

She did, however, acknowledge during the conversation that Swift “seems like she’s a nice person and she does wonderful things for kids and they all love her and idolize her.”

But in terms of her music, Ernestine said, “I’d rather listen to Bonnie Raitt,” who she believes has inspired some of Swift’s tunes.

“That’s part of where her music came from,” she claimed. “It’s very similar.”

Unsurprisingly, Swifties in the comments weren’t exactly on the same page as Skip and his wife, with someone on Instagram calling their conversation about Swift “yawn worthy.”

“You don’t have to like her music, but to talk about her looks seems gross!” someone else added, while another agreed, “the audacity to comment on anyone else’s looks is wild.”
